ROYAL NAVY OBAN ANTI SUBMARINE INDICATOR LOOP SITE
There is a World War II Royal Navy Anti Submarine Indicator Loop site near Ganavan at the entrance to Oban Bay. There is more information on this site at Richard Walding's site. The site was also used by the artillery before WWII and the concrete pillar is believed to be left from then.
