Mallaig Target
During WWII SOE had many Special Training Schools around this area. STS22a was at Glasnacardoch House and was used to train in the use of foreign weapons. This substantial concrete target was probably erected because of this. It is 44 feet wide at the base, tapering to 29 feet wide at the top. Just over 7 foot high and the concrete is 20 inches thick.
